MICA Offers Expanded Master’s and Bachelor’s Programming
MICA Maryland Institute College of Art continues to pioneer art and design higher education curriculum by launching unique academic programs. Through these degrees, the College is developing new curricular models to support its increased scope of programs, especially in the areas of civic engagement, research, professional studies, design and liberal arts.

MICA is ranked fourth overall for its Master of Fine Arts programs, No. 4 in painting/drawing, No. 6 in graphic design and No. 7 in sculpture in the specialty rankings. The complete rankings will appear in the 'America's Best Graduate Schools' guidebook, on sale April 20.

MICA Offers Unique Civic Engagement and Graduate Programming in East Baltimore and Beyond
The College is renovating the former St. Wenceslaus School, 814 N. Collington Ave., into a year-round center for community arts and social design programs with apartments. The renovation is scheduled to be completed in mid-September.

MICA will host "The Narcissism of Minor Differences," an exhibition showcasing 17 acclaimed artists, including Francisco de Goya, Philip Guston and Sam Durant, who will explore the dark side of intolerance using art, historical artifact and documentation.
