WASHINGTON,D.C.--The work of Michael Dax Iacovone, an MFA student at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, is the focus of a solo exhibition that opens Saturday, July 12 at Washington's The Gallery at Flashpoint. The show, The Numbers Behind, continues through Aug. 23.

Iacovone explores spaces and image-making in a new and mechanical way. His installation at the gallery includes large-scale black and white photographs, maps that show the specific path that the artist follows, and videos that track the artist's execution of the formulas.

An opening reception takes place Saturday, July 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the gallery, 916 G Street, NW, Washington, D.C.
